Terms of Service

The rules for using Jovis AI responsibly.

These terms explain how customers and users may access Jovis AI, what remains under customer control, and the operational limits that keep shared AI workspaces reliable and secure.

Last updated: June 14, 2026. These terms apply to the Jovis AI hosted service at jovis.ai unless your organization has a separate signed agreement with Jovis AI.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Jovis AI by customers, workspace administrators, invited users, and visitors. By using the service, you agree to follow these terms and any product policies referenced by Jovis AI.

If you use Jovis AI on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. If a separate written agreement applies, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these terms.

2. The service

Jovis AI provides an AI analyst workspace for querying connected systems, documents, databases, and operational knowledge. The service may include chat agents, connectors, document indexing, scheduling, model routing, usage controls, and workspace settings.

We may update, improve, limit, or discontinue features over time. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid material disruption to active customer workspaces.

3. Accounts and workspace access

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep sign-in methods secure.
  • Workspace admins are responsible for member access, roles, invitations, connectors, and workspace configuration.
  • You must promptly remove access for users who should no longer use the workspace.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless caused by Jovis AI's failure to meet its security obligations.

4. Customer data and connectors

Customer data includes prompts, uploaded files, connected records, documents, schemas, chat history, generated outputs, connector configuration, and other content brought into Jovis AI by or for a workspace.

Your organization retains ownership of customer data. You grant Jovis AI permission to process customer data as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service as described in our agreements and privacy policy.

You may connect only systems, accounts, datasets, and credentials that you are authorized to use. Connector permissions should follow least-privilege principles.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Jovis AI to:

  • break the law, violate third-party rights, or bypass access controls;
  • probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service;
  • upload malware, secrets you are not permitted to process, or data obtained without authorization;
  • use outputs as the sole basis for legal, medical, financial, employment, housing, or other high-impact decisions;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties without written permission.

6. AI output and human review

Jovis AI uses language models and retrieval systems that may produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect output. You are responsible for reviewing responses, citations, query results, and actions before relying on them.

Jovis AI is designed to support business workflows, not to replace professional judgment or required human review.

7. Plans, billing, and usage

Paid plans, included credits, model usage, metered charges, and payment terms are described in the applicable order, product plan, or customer agreement. Workspace admins are responsible for usage generated by their workspace.

If payment is overdue, usage exceeds agreed limits, or a workspace creates operational risk, Jovis AI may limit or suspend access after reasonable notice where practical.

8. Confidentiality and security

Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party must protect that information using reasonable care and use it only for purposes allowed by these terms or a written agreement.

Jovis AI uses safeguards intended to protect account data, credentials, connected content, and generated output. No hosted service can guarantee perfect security.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Jovis AI at any time. Workspace owners may request closure or deletion according to the applicable plan or customer agreement.

Jovis AI may suspend or terminate access if use violates these terms, creates security or service risk, infringes rights, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to fix the issue.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Except as expressly stated in a written agreement, Jovis AI is provided as is and as available. We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent allowed by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Jovis AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service, our practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the product or by email.
